Bigpie - can you recommend a crimping tool for the barrel style connections you're using? I'm using my standard crimper but it's not making a great job of it.

Finally got one of those after many years of bodging connectors, well worth the low cost of it.

I've'e had the same crimping tool for many years, it makes it very easy and neat.

Got it yesterday morning. A very nice job with crimped and soldered connections of the proper motorcycle type. Great job, Thanks.

Paul.

Being a smart arse and a tight arse, I thought I could use my GCSE in D&T Electronics to make myself a set of these.

Seriously... what it cost me in parts, time, solder, burns and the mrs complaining of the smell of flux in the living room I should have just bought the things from BigPie!

Took sodding ages to figure out a way to wire it neatly and the over an hour to make one, then another 2 hours to redo all the wiring on the bike to suit the new layout.  :GRR:

In the end you get a nice neat bit of kit... but god was it a PITA to make.
Quite robust base with a few mounting options.

How you can sit there with your little production line going is beyond me. 2 was enough for me to do in one lifetime.

Got a bit of a system going, and I make at least 10 at a time, though it is a bit of a struggle to fit in my job, my software development business and making the electronic bits and bobs, general house duties, being a dad and trying get an allotment plot in to shape.

Luckily I struggle to be able to sit still and do nothing, but as we come out of winter I will be doing less of the electrical bits and bobs and I do hope that one day my software business can take over from the software job.
