Heh Heh! Unfortunate spelling there, Canadier!  :)

By 'saddlebags' do you mean 'panniers'? I suspect a lot of blokes (UK for g=u=ys, and we have an 'americanism' filter on the site as well, to preserve UK english language!) get bigger Givi ones, especially if touring, the Suzuki ones are a bit small?

The genuine ones are smaller, but they are neater and suit the bike. Great for filtering in stationary traffic. I've opted for a givi trekker top box which is 52L much bigger than the stock one. We found bigger panniers are handy but they can be an inconvenience if they are huge. Also with genuine panniers there are no unsightly pannier racks.

Us gays use pink ones but other blokes mostly use the colour coded genuine panniers
