rear spindle
« on: September 08, 2014, 20:35:12 »
hi, I have a 2008 abs DL650. I wonder whether the rear spindle is interchangeable with the one on a sv650? Does anyone know where I can source the centre stand springs?

The part numbers are very different.

The springs are part numbers 09443-14059 and 09443-22013. They are the  same springs as the ones on the stock center stand on old GS550Es.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

the SV650 has a different rear tyre width, so a different swing arm width- so I very much doubt it'll fit the strom.
