Puzzled with service schedule
« on: September 08, 2014, 16:45:46 »
One member here posted the photo of the service schedule page from his manuals. Yesterday I looked at my manuals and it's completely different then his. In my manuals, the schedule is the same as the one I had for my Glee, meaning each 6.000 km's (4.000 miles) and in his 12.000 km's (7.500 miles). In both there is a time limit of 12 months between services.
My manuals have been printed October 2013, Part No. 99011-31J50-01A
I don't know why the difference but I'm not happy about it.

You should have got a slip of paper with the new service interval on with your manual all the dealer had them posted to them.

Yeah, it was revised after they went to print. It's 7,500 for the Veek.

Just went to my dealer and he said he had no clue about revised page. He promissed he'll check with Suzuki Portugal and let me know. I will not let this one go. I know dealers love to do service more often but that's not my problem. Even if I have to contact Suzuki Japan.

Bosnjo - confirmed by Suzuki UK here: viewtopic.php?f=109&t=21299 (which links through to a Suzuki bulletin detailing the new service interval).

Perhaps another Veek owner can scan the adendum page for us in good quality? We can stick it up in the downloads section because it's likely others will need it in the future too.

PDF please, otherwise any other format and we'll convert it.

Juv, see here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/50s9gcoh05bez ... m.pdf?dl=0

Unfortunately my scanner's not connected at the moment, so had to do this with scanner on phone, then convert, upload etc. Quality not brilliant but still legible. At some point I will be bothered enough to reconnect my scanner so will rescan then.

No, I didn't get it. Maybe because my bike was at the dealers showroom flor since April and God knows for how long it's been in Portugal. Maybe at that time they were not updating Owner's Manual.
