Glee service South Hertfordshire / North London

I am shortly going to need to have my Glee serviced (14,500 miles). Can anyone recommend somewhere around Hatfield / Potters Bar / St Albans or in North London area? I live in AL9 7 (Welham Green), and am currently working in EC1A 7QN

As much as I like the idea of servicing it myself, having the time to do the work myself is proving impossible at the moment.

IIRC the 14,500 mile service includes a valve clearance check? Takes a while even if you know what you're doing and takes longer if you have to change some. Not the check and the change that really takes that much time, getting everything out of the way to do it is the tricky bit.

Hi Andy,
I had my 14500 service done at Avsco in Watford. I was going to do myself but you need a computer to synch throttle bodies. They will give you a spare bike if available I forgot to book it but they gave it anyway.
Bike was running rough before service (March 2014) and done 4000 miles since very pleased with service.

Spare bike is an old Honda rough but does the job.

Thanks Kells - are you able to give me an idea of roughly what you paid the service?

Total cost £350.
Valve check no adjustment needed
2 rocker cover gaskets
Throttle bodies synched
Air filter
oil filter
Fully synch oil
tyre fitted and balanced ( I supplied tyre)£25
Checked coolant no need to change.
Bobbins fitted as no centre stand £10

Brake fluid and pads I can do myself also front forks should have oil changed at this service but I'll do this at 21k don't really believe it need doing at 14k never done it on any of my other bikes.
If you give them the work the bring the manual and tell them it shows how to take panels off, mine was first Glee they worked on and I left manual in top box, no one told mechanic.
