Dad's taxi will always be there. That's kind of the rules.

Dad's car might be a touch too expensive to insure  :)

Eeeek

Incidentaly my Merc's (ML250 AMG Sport) a year old soon and it's going to cost a piffling £280 to insure fully comp' including business use, which is nice.

I just got an email from Amazon saying I am due a refund .... £0.01

Any ideas what to do with it ? (Other than spend a penny!)

I was going to recommend that you do the honest thing and return it. Simply tie the card to a house brick and pop round to his place. 4 am is usually a good time to do it.

Hypothetically speaking, of course...

Student Finance England finally agreeing that my divorce certificate is proof that I am not married (don't ask) and the subsequent cash payments rescuing me from penury.

Also received a cheque from the DVLA for £30, no idea why, there was no letter with it.

Remaining road tax on the bike? Either that or some bored employee has had a "Feck it" day and fired off a load of cheques to random people!

Just finished watching all 62 episodes of 'Breaking Bad' over a 6 week period. Brilliant television, really enjoyed it, but squirmed a lot - sometimes it was difficult watching (no, not the old hemorrhoids this time).

I just bought a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Limited with Eyesight. It's an XV SE in the UK. It is only available with an engine that runs on regular grade petrol in the USA. It's the first time I ever bought a top of the model line car. The Eyesight system is really something.
