Don't get me wrong, I was talking about when I'm really shifting along, and everyone has their own riding style but I don't think I could imagine riding anywhere and not get above 4000 rpm! Might as well go in the car, or on a mobility scooter :shock:

I'm with you, if I get more than 40mpg on a ride I'm not trying  :)

Quick update on this, I've realised what's happening.

Because you can turn the bars so much more compared to a sports bike, I'm doing a much sharper turn than I ever could before and I think that was what was giving me the issue, although a slight riding style change has stopped this....
If you nicked my GSX-R Thou, I want it back!!!
