Footpeg lowering kit - brake light cable adjustment

I couldn't see how I could access the brake light cable adjustment housing so I compromised with a paper clip to bridge the gap from the end of the spring to the pedal.

Anyone else had this problem ?

IIRC, if you take the wire out of the cable tie just under the back of the fuel tank it will just give it enough length.
