Calne Scaffold Motorbike

This fanstastic construction is just outside Calne

It's part of the marketing to advertise the Calne Bike Show, which is on early in the Summer. The detail on the rear lights and indicators is excellent.

Size wise, it's about 12 feet high. With the plinth it is on I guess it can be trucked into town for the show.

 Modern equivalent of that white horse on the hillside, or the nearby Avebury stone circle, eh?

I like it. Reminds me of the running wicker man by the side of the M5 which I used to pass regularly a few years ago - is that still there?

Sadly the wicker man is not so isolated, being nearly surrounded by housing and a 4-kinormous ASDA depot not far away...
No bike at present.......
