Clutch adjustment screw
« on: September 17, 2013, 09:37:21 »
Can anyone tell me the effect of having it too far out vs too far in, in regards to the screw that is on the clutch push rod.

I've be messing trying to sort out my gear/clutch problems. I've been told the screw has the opposite effect than I would assume. I'd assume too far in will result is clutch slip and too far out not disengaging the clutch properly.

When warm I have difficulty switching up from 1st to neutral (see other thread) so I would guess that maybe tightening up the screw may help. As I've re-tried the official procedure I thought I'd just try trial and error with the screw, once I know which direction.

Cheers fellas

That's how it works.

Thanks. I'll fudge around with it and see what happens.

Make small adjustments on that, even a tenth of a turn can have a noticeable effect.
