Minor Screen and Dials Scratching - Solutions?
« on: July 11, 2013, 18:07:28 »
Hi All,

I have minor scratching of the default screen and again on my dials, I assume from paper wiping - does anyone have a solution for removing minor scratching from this kind of perspex/soft plastic?

Any recommendations?

Toothpaste works (just the cheapy stuff, not the posh stuff with three colours haha) although something like autosol will work easier. Use a lump of toothpaste on a rag, polish on, polish off, rinse off. :)

Use GT85, just spray and wipe with a lint free cloth. It's not abrasive so won't make things worse if it doesn't work. I've used it on a scratched Pinlock with great results. The post is on the forum somewhere.
