Name That Hole!
« on: July 10, 2013, 22:14:44 »
OK, so it's been a while since I had to ask anyone this sort of thing, but I have a hole I can't identify and could use a little help?

Here's the offending hole;

There is what appears to be an identical hole on the opposite side, but this one is covered by a rubber grommet.

Can anyone identify these for me?

They should both have a plug in them so you lost one, not the end of the world really. Not exactly sure what they are for, but I reckon it'd be something along the lines of hoist points or such.

Yup, jigging point for assembly/machining. Blank it off if you want, ignore it otherwise :)

Can't be a Donkey Hole...its on a Strom! Donkey Holes are more readily seen on other marques and machines, especially sports bikes & the odd BMW.  lol
