I used to have a Wee. Check your headlight aim. The left light may be aimed higher. If it looks like this in reverse, that's likely the situation.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

Nope, done this many times (both cars and bikes, probably hundreds of times over the years) and having just been to France last week on the Wee I have adjusted them twice in the last couple of weeks.

Both lights are definitely profiled to the left.

Possible the Glee is different then.

I think it's the USA lights that would be different then. The lights on my Wee had flat topped beams.

Aye, that's definitely a USA beam pattern. The UK is closer to this:

How many cars and trucks from Europe do you see with beam deflectors. How many bikes from abroad have we seen with beam deflectors. None maybe the answer. Just don't draw unnecessary attention and all should be fine.    :thumb:

unless you ride at night... really, it's a 5minute job and saves blinding anyone you pass over there. Why wouldn't you do it?

+1. that's my view - its a 5 min job and takes all the doubt out of a 135 euro fine (at least for that 'offence'). As I've said, I've never had any problems but there is always a first time and for the sake of 5 mins I'll do it

The best way to resolve this is to find out if there is alternative headlight unit available for RHD countries for the Wee and Glee. If there is one it indicates that the lights dip to the right as might be expected. Before I moved to France my local Suzuki dealer in Norfolk said there was no RHD light listed I.e. the lights dip vertically (as has been confirmed by thebigcheese) and I was not required to change the the headlight in order to get the bike registered here. So the Vee doesn't need beam deflectors. Whether the Wee and Glee use vertically dipping lights I don't know. Perhaps someone could investigate if alternate RHD light units are listed for them or not?
