Rattle when starter dis-engages

Hi All

Maybe I am being paranoid but every time I start the Wee I get a definite rattle as the mechanism dis-engages.
I have taken the starter out and had a look but everything seems OK. The noise seems to be coming from whatever the starter gear connects too.
Any comments like "mine does that too" would be most welcome. If it doesn't then suggestions as to what it might be please.

Sounds like the starter clutch may be sticking.

Hi all

Thanks for that suggestion. The noise lasts about 3/4 seconds then all is quiet. Maybe that helps. Bike runs fine apart from the starting bit.
