Suzuki Clutch Basics - Intro to the Mechanics Involved
« on: January 14, 2013, 15:39:12 »
Hi All,

So first off, I have no plans to do this and my wee doesn't need a clutch. Its also not being done on a DL650, but an SV650, not sure how similar these are.

However, in an attempt to be as informed about my bike as possible I found the following YouTube video very useful. It's aimed at basic level so doesn't seem to assume too much (please feel free to correct me).

Out of interest, has anyone here changed the clutch on their wee and was it similar?

SV and DL clutches are practically identical.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s
