Just a quick heads up to say I found Castrol Power 1 Racing 4T 10/40 fully synthetic oil on offer at Tesco today. The cost was £3.10 per litre so I bought 7 x 1l tubs which was all they had left. I assume this was a limited offer while stocks last so get there for a bargain ASAP :-)

Absolute bargain, cost in Halfords is £11.99 per litre.

Holy hell that's cheap! Got a 5 litre bottle of Castrol Power 1 Racing 4T 10W/40 which set me back £25 (£5/litre) and thought that was cheap... but £3.10/lire... bargain!

Tried 2 tescos today. got 5 litre containers out of one and the other one didn't have any. least I have enough for a cheap oil change.

Checked the Tesco near me. All they had was the 2T scooter one. These seem to be on special clearance offer. Wonder why that is? Are they fake ones bought by Tesco? Hmmmmm . . . .

Will try the other 'BIG' Tesco later this afternoon

I tried 3 stores (only big telcos) I go past on my way to work and one of them had 7 bottles:) so with a little push it is 2 services:) for £21!!!

I went to a bunch of smaller Tesco stores between Ipswich and Thetford. Felt like riding today anyway, and didn't even use a quarter tank of fuel so it's all good

Tried the 3 big tescos and none of them had it, then went to the medium one behind my house and got 8 bottles

that is all they had. Will try the other towns tomorrow

Another trick might be to order online and tell them you'll accept no substitutions. Though that runs the same risk of them just saying "sorry, we don't have any!" and leaving you high and dry.
