People saying 'I LOLed' instead of I laughed in real life.

Poor punctuation and grammar. All the pendant favourites really. Interestingly, if you're a pedant, my local M&S has a duo of signs at the express checkout; one that says 'Five items or less' the other 'Five items of fewer'.

One thing that really annoys me is people on ebay who refuse to post an item because they think it's too heavy to post or might get damaged. If I win, it's mine and I'll decide whether its OK to post the bloody thing!

Yes, well I can't add spelling really because mine is atrocious, this from someone who used to write for a living.

But, seemingly intelligent americans who say nucular, now that pisses me right off.

In their defence they do spell it the way they pronounce it, but I know the feeling well.

The American 'aks', instead of 'ask'. Worse though has to be the affectation of dropping the h in words like 'human'. It creases me that the mighty Carl Sagan used to do this ughhh!

A Canadian teacher of English once tried to tell me that "obligated" was a word! What chance do her pupils have?

A good chance of learning to speak Canadian?

Canada and Denmark: the only places in the world where after a few weeks you hope someone will do something marginally anti-social, just to break the monotony of "Niceness" (is that a word?). Makes me want to fart in hotel lifts just to see if the complaint starts with "Excuse me Sir, you may have possibly produced.....".

£25.51 .... Yep, that's Tweny five sodding pounds and Fifty one pence, just to fill up a strom.

And in our world of modern technology, why can't a petrol pump realise I am inching towards a round pound (or a round 50p in this case) and just stop itself and not always tick a penny over ? It could always be set to release again if I really pulled the lever all the way up, but if I'm using as much pressure as a wet tissue could apply to it, then I really want it to stop.
