Servicing - Wilts Area
« on: June 04, 2012, 12:27:24 »
Hi,

I'm looking to get my Vee serviced and MoT'd this month and would welcome any recommendations on where to take it for servicing.

I'm based in the Chippenham/Calne area in Wiltshire, but work in Swindon - so looking for somewhere nearby to either home or work.

I've always used Bridge Garage down in Shrewton as I used to work down that way, very friendly and good pricing but it's now just awkward arranging it as they are out of the way and in the middle of nowhere.

Have used CMC (Chippenham Motor Cycles) in the past and they've been alright, but can't put my finger on why I'm not entirely happy with them down there.  Although they are local.

Would appreciate some recommendations if possible, again, in the Chippenham, Calne and Swindon areas.

Thanks in advance, as always...  :ty:

Possibly, if the recommendation is high enough!

FP, I have always found Phoenix Motorcycles to be fair in my dealings with them, for MOTs.

Cirencester isn't so far from you and the blokes at Hammond's are really good, just a pity they lost the Suzuki dealership in the cuts. I started my motorcycling and working life in Calne, 1964, and always enjoy going back there, July 28th definately on the calendar.
