Hi
The Trax panniers needed some carrying handles for going into hotels or if you have to park the bike away from the tent pitch. You can buy them from SW Motech but being a tight wad £40 a pair is a bit much. This is what I've done.
Get some 25mm wide nylon webbing and some 12mm sticky back Velcro from a haberdashery (always a good word).

For the across straps thread the webbing through the metal brackets/loops on the pannier lids with a full width overlap, cut to length, and seal the ends with ciggy lighter to stop them fraying.
Cut the Velcro to cover the full overlap, stick in place as this makes it less fiddly to sew on.
If your not allowed to use the very expensive sewing machine, as in my case, then find someone who is. I let Mrs Snowy do this part, as it is her department.

For the lengthway strap I already had these Gelert straps so I will use them or you could do the same as above.

I then tested them with some weight, over 15kgs used here, which far exceeds the 3kg max load stated on the sticker inside the pannier! All was well.

For my Trax topcase I'm going to use one the "Large item carrying straps" from Aldi which was £2-£3 ish, it will also double as belt for Mrs Snowy to hold onto when riding two-up.
