does look the job, looking to get my seat changed in future, raise it by an inch or thereabouts and put gel inserts in.

My Corbin does pond impressions if left in the rain. You are supposed to put a shower cap on it...can't say I've bothered. But yeah, where does the water go if it fills up?? At least the Corbin is easy to empty with a sweep of a glove & the leather is waterproof (mind you, I do feed and coat it every year...)

There's no proper support for the base of your spine. It's like sitting on a toilet, you stress a lot of other muscles to hold your posture. Granted the "missing bit" is a lot smaller than the hole in a toilet seat, so maybe it's not the same effect.

Agree with Abercol on the ponding with the Corbin. Though it was comfy, I felt it lacked a bit of side support and you needed more knee pressure on the tank. More a seat for 200 miles of A-roads, if you want a B-road hoon stick the standard one back on..

Juve - I see what you mean and have thought the same on some MTB seats I've seen..
