I guess Suzuki believed all that crap that Europeans want Adventure bikes and Americans don't. You have TV ads trying to sell the bikes and I can't get my grubby little hands on one.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

Adventure style bikes have always been much better sellers in mainland Europe compared to the UK. The LWR & LWD helped the GS into the top sellers in the UK, but there was already thousands of them over there.

Are they in short supply in the US then Pat? - on the other hand the US market still has the Vee listed....

My dealer hasn't seen one yet. Dealers aren't able to get as many as they wanted. I'm not interested in a Vee.

Oh I see. I had to check that the US was now (supposedly) getting the L2 version. Good luck with hunting one down!

A lot of people here are reporting getting or seeing them, but none are at my dealer yet.
