TTL = Transistor Transistor Logic in my book and is not related to a specific voltage

ach, I knew someone would pick up on that :) you know I meant TTL as opposed to RS232 at 15 or 12V :)

SoC, I should have known that at least :)
TTL for me is Time To Live, but then I am a trained network engineer (though I have forgotten most of it :shy: )
