Eastern Beaver
« on: February 28, 2012, 23:01:30 »
Hello.

Looking at purchasing the the Eastern Beaver PC8 relay kit for my strom to making wiring in Sat Nav, PD oiler, USB charger and potential heated clothing for next winter a lot easier.

http://easternbeaver.com/Main/Bike_Specific/VStrom/vstrom.html

I understand it can be done for a lot cheaper but I lack the skills and understanding so am stumping up the cash for ready made kit.

Just wondering if anyone else was looking to get anything from there in the near future and would be interested in splitting postage costs?

Cheers,

Ben

yes was looking to get a set up myself, possibly the 3CS would do me. the postage that much?

FOR ME:
USB CHARGER (can charge phone, which doudles up as nat nav) saves me personaly hard wiring anything)
12V CHARGER
BLANK ONE FOR ADDITIONAL LIGHTS IN THE FUTURE.

PD OILER CAN EASILY CONNECT INTO THE BIKE WIRING AS IS, WILL SAVE GETTING A FUSE BOX ETC.

Eastern Beaver has a minimum charge of $20 US. There have been some posts about crazily high shipping charges but those only appear if not ordering the minimum. That appears to be the only way to automatically prevent small orders. As long as the minimum charge is met, shipping is reasonable, especially coming from Japan.

I've ordered a few things from there, very good quality items. Shipping is reasonable like greywolf said, works out about £15 if memory serves. Quite fast delivery too.
I'm sane, honestly. . . I got a certificate to prove it!

Aonother one for the costs become reasonable once the minimum order is hit. Didn't seem expensive for the parts or the postage, and they came quickly too.

The only thing is to make sure you order the right amount of bits the first time ....
