Finished the fork rebuild/seal replacement. Need to take it for a ride at some point to see if it's improved the front end (if not am thinking steering bearings...).

Discovered a few tips for doing this. First put the oil lock piece and the rebound cylinder before installing the bushing/new seals (I ended up having to strip it back down as the oil lock piece wouldn't go through the bottom of the inner tube by dropping it in - Pic of the offending items below)

The homemade seal driver (thanks to Delboy's garage) worked really well for seating the bushing, though I found the electrical tape method better for pushing the actual oil seals in.

Dismantled back of Wee to remove snapped bolt holding topcase plate on. Thankfully there were a couple of threads pocking through so managed to use mini mole grips to wind it through. Only took an hour.
Fitted carbon look cover and backrests to Shad 58X topcase.
Repacked the pannier frames for shipping back as I ordered the wrong ones. There is a 2012 model but needed 2013 abs version.

Enjoy your Grand Tour Ridaz. :thumb:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Now rewiring the Givi spots the cables have chaffed through where it goes into the rear of the spot.

Cheers
