Done the tps adjustment but didn't have time for a test ride, that's a job for tomorrow  :thumb:

Nothing weird, fat hands aren't a help when pulling/twisting the Sidelight holders out. Remember that LEDs only work one way around, if the Sidelights don't work, turn them over  :fix:

Finally decided to tackle the small area of corrosion on the clutch cover. RS Paints matched paint wasn't a match and had far too much solvent causing runs and pop. Awful, sending that back. Cleaned it all up again and went and got some VHT paint, did'nt read the small print and it needs to cure at 220 degs!!! Only bit that cured was the water pump area, the rest was like granules, looked good but marked with a finger nail as it would not cure on the bike. Finally got and used Halfords Engine paint and it went on well. I am pleased with the result. Had to do both sides of the bike to get a uniform colour match as the engine paint is very light colour. Hugger next and then she is ready for another Tour next month.

BMW seem to make everything these days. Did any oil come out?
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Been faffing with the Scottoiler. It was on the bike when I bought it and has been working fine until it ran out. I filled it and followed the instructions to prime it, which was fine. But every time I turn it lower than the prime setting it pulls in air from somewher and gets airlocked. Any ideas to get it working properly?

JonJo,  check the tubing to the delivery nib for holes. Chances are there's one somewhere there. You can get replacements from garden centres (pond section) - think it's 6mm tubing if I remember correctly.

Been faffing with the Scottoiler.

I sent mine back to Scotoiler to get re-adjusted.
Got them to set it at 3 for the correct duration.
Life is short - You have to enjoy it on a Wee-Strom!
