Carry on with the winter service.
Over the 30,000 mile mark this year so more to do...

Dropped it onto the car!!! :violence-smack:
Nice day, needed to run a few 'errands', I'll go on the 'bike. Manoeuvring between the corner of the house & the car (like I do every time I go out), just got it straightened up and it stalled on me, wasn't ready for that, started to fall to the right, couldn't hold it so laid it down. The top box came to rest on (the newly repaired) wing, putting a nice dent in it!!  :shy:
No damage to the 'bike or top box!!  :thumb:

Don't tell Deb!
Send her out in the car for something, and when she gets back say "what the hell have you done to the car???!!!"

Then ask why she reversed into your Top Box.

@ Rusty & Martin.....nothing gets past Deb, she was out of the front door asking what happened before I got it back upright!!! But I will say she has got her priorities right and asked if the 'bike was OK before bollocking me about the car!!  :thumb:
@ Neil....you got it in one!

I have zero sympathy with Mick. This is a direct result of having too much time on his hands. ###
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

You need to take on the breakfast load centrally, not biased to one side.

25ºC this afternoon. Beautiful ride through twistees but the clothing was a bit overkill.

Sold it. :icon_exclaim: Then placed an order for a nice shiny black AL9 model from Millenium Motocycles from ST Helens. :text-bravo:
Been waiting for the price to drop as the new model comes out soon. Got a good deal from them. Now to start adding bits. :auto-dirtbike:
Will be sad to say goodbye to my 06 plate but she has done me proud now on 51000 miles and showing signs of her age. :ty:

Fitted new clutch cable, hand guards (old scratched set going free), plus refitted the fairing. Discovered some more missing bolts so will need to buy some more of unusual size no doubt.

Nothing.

But on this day last year I spent 4 hours outside in a T-Shirt ripping out a PD Oiler and cleaning the spilt chainsaw oil off the bike.

Bloody inconsistent weather.

Dug out the old stick welder from under the bench and tacked new 8mm nuts (replace the ones I had to out drill out :angry-banghead:) onto the mounting brackets for the Ravetech mini skidplate.
Too embarrassed to post any pics of the repair as it looks like a bird has shat on it

Rode over the M62 in a snow shower and realised how horrible it is not to have a pinlock on my visor with it steaming up then getting water on the inside when opening it. Think I need to replace my aged Neotec as it's not worth spending the money on spares.
The thermometer on the Glee then showed 2°C on my way back which Keis' 'Wind chill calculator' says is the equivalent of -8 at 70mph. The heated jacket was fine on medium, though the heated grips seemed slightly lacking in heat. May try the heated inner gloves tomorrow...

I have never liked pinlock because it gives me a bit blured vision. But then, where I live I almost don't need it.
