The swingarm is upside down in the photo Graham62? If so it's the brake side with the paint/coating damage...... Logically the chain side would be better protected, n'est-ce pas?

Good work. I know all about swing arms now with missing grease seals, sheared accessory bolts and torque settings (the Kawasaki GPX).  :icon_wink:
So how's it going so far then?

Top work Graham, are you adding some reliability as well. :)

I used to think I did, The Nail always found something else. :smirk:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Rode down to Haying Island to take a look at a GSXR750 SRAD.
If it has two wheels.. I'll ride it.

Washing my Glee for the second time this week. Went out to enjoy the Norfolk sunshine and dry roads yesterday and found the salt/molasses mix the council use meant the roads were still wet until after lunchtime. The whole bike was grey with salt.
It hasn’t rained for several days so it must grab the moisture out of the air overnight.
A cold water rinse, dry and a spray with FS365 later and hopefully the effects of the salt will be minimalised.

Best of luck - my first salt exposure did both abs rings, the exup tubes, and a whole load of fasteners.
If it has two wheels.. I'll ride it.

I went for a 70 mile trip up into Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. Bibury is still heaving even at 10am on a damp Sunday in February, up to Burford, Witney, Kingston Bagpuize and home.

Embarrassingly I think 72.6 miles is my longest ride in 18 months  :shy:

I found it hard to find Neutral when I got home, so I'm off to check the chain and clean the bike.

I had a ride through hampshire back to london. Bike bloody filthy - just washed and acf'd. Noticed more corrosion on front suspension bolts. Wondered if these are warranty items?
If it has two wheels.. I'll ride it.

When I was having trouble finding neutral a while back it required clutch cable adjustment.

Put on a pair of A41; Replaced end Can with Scorpion.
In my defence, she did leave me unsupervised.

Over the weekend I got a pair of Anakee 3’s and fitted a GIVI rear hugger. Then yesterday I thought I would break them in with a trip to Dunwich on the Suffolk Coast.

There is nothing like a grey, drizzly Monday jaunt to the seaside, with the SATNAV sending you down every muddy single-track Road in East Anglia.... all on new tyres

My  truck busted in the middle of a large woodland we are working in, so the Strom had to haul in my climbing kit and two saws + fuel.
I set off on a sixty mile round trip a bit rattled at the change in transport, and the off road section was interesting on road tyres, but the bike got it done with aplomb,(that's not my fat uncle in case TLP  asks...).
Lessons from me for the brave or naive:
If in doubt off road pin it.
If in doubt after responding  to being in doubt you're f#cked.
But you did get further than if you had not taken my advice...

Did the tree fastened to the top box alter the handling at all?
