Webofdoom what size is the seat cushion you're using. I know its the cheaper tourtec one from Germany,  isn't it? Airhawks are a bit expensive so was thinking about one of these. I'm using a pillion pad airhawk at the moment ( turned sideways) and it helps a bit with my sore tailbone area but is a bit short. Thanks.

I made up this small extention for the chainguard. I'll see how much less 'fling' I get under the topbox, pannier, rack, numberplate and side panel...............

So how's it going so far then?

Unless it's been fabricated from an old plant pot it doesn't count I'm afraid Joe. :icon_no:

I don't make the rules, Barbel Mick does.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

It's 2mm aluminium plate fixed with ss screws and locking nuts, sprayed black of course.

No cheapy flower pot stuff here TLP.   :icon_no:  (we must try to lift Barbel Mick's standards somewhat..........  :icon_wink: )

He He.. Rode the banana to work - had a stone come up from the car in front which hit the front bottom edge of the puig screen - throwing a 50P sized piece of it up over and straight into my lap!

Ar5e..

Aluminium or plastic.......it'll be the only thing not corroding in a year or two!!!
As for my standards Joe, many have tried, all have failed!  :icon_wink:

this is going nowhere!!

The bend at the back makes all the difference.  :stirpot:
There was no plant in it when I 'borrowed' it from the neighbour.

Put new brake discs on the front. After 40,000 miles they were just under spec and the bobbins had loosened right off on the starboard side so it was rattling around on the support.

Fitted a Cosmo centre stand. Checked chain tension. Doesn't seem to be any change in the last 1300 miles???? Back in the day I recall chain tensioning being pretty much a monthly job. Cosmo belly pan tomorrow and maybe see if I can work out the spotlights. (Three wires on the lights, 2 on the switch, what's that all about?).

Full clean and she's sparkling.

Was admiring her next to the SV.  Think its time they both had 1037cc.

Anyone got a set of DL1K AL4-AL8 barrels spare?  :lala: :lala:

We went to West Wales for a Steam boiler course! The V-Strom did admirably. (Glad I went yesterday, not today --- riding in heavy rain isn't my idea of fun :icon_no:)

Had a new set of Michelin PR4’s fitted on Friday so went out for a 110 mile bimble around North Norfolk and the Broads villages to scrub them in.
Found a lovely little cafe at Horsey, called Poppies. We only had a coffee, very nice, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked very good too.
Tyres great, biked working fine and the rain started as I got back to my village, couldn’t have planned it better if I had tried.
