Sorry tallpaul but that colour scheme looks like a trainee's first day in a sawmill.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

They do other designs too, all equally garish. Had I been able to get a nice shiny blue bike in the spec and price I would have been content, but the matte grey is just a bit bland. Stickers/ wrapping just seem like an easy and reversible way to perk it up a lot.
Old enough to know better, but still too young to care...

You know the answer Tall.

Down to Llandovery to see Ian at the Owls nest cafe. (small breakfast with a coffee £5 excellent)  Bikers campsite stickers all over the counter FR must have been there before me! Over the mountain towards Neath and then back through the Brecon beacons. Great ride about 125 miles showing 74mpg on the speedo. Have now just gone over 11000 miles from new, bike seems to have really loosened up nicely now.

Reattached my screen - it's nice not to turn into Mr Bobble-head at speed.

Tested out the new Tony Archer seat, may have to go back as I'm my short trip today I kept sliding forwards and squishing me bits

Nothing - Rode the SV to work and back for change. Felt so 'tiny'... :)
If it has two wheels.. I'll ride it.

That should be in Traitors Corner infidel......... :icon_wink:

Put my standard screen back on my bike for a change and to see why I bought a GIVI Airflow. Besides, at 80kph now the wind blast is less of a problem.
So how's it going so far then?

Found myself free this morning so popped out with a good mate on his Explorer for a bimble around the North Norfolk lanes. 100 miles and a coffee, at the very bike friendly Kingfisher Cafe on the sea front at Walcott, made for a very nice run and set me up for an afternoon with the lawn mower and shopping trolley.

Oil and filter change, maybe should have done it earlier but gear changes are way smoother.
45K on it now and hopefully should crack the 50 by the end of the year.

Finally finished the heel / frame protectors for my bike. Thank you to all who offered suggestions, like the removable caps so the swing arm pivot could be accessed without removing the guards.

I have made several pairs should anyone be interested, I have put them up for sale in the sale section (bike related). Now to try my hands on another project  :)

Rode mine today, I love that bike, its slow, its heavy, but it has something that puts me in a good frame of mind.
