Clearly not mine but did an oil + filter change on my brother's Vee.
Old enough to know better, but still too young to care...

They're my sort of roads too Infidel and I found a new one today that had all that and a downhill 1:8 Gradient too  :thumb:

Then I got to Bibury (one of the most beautiful villages you will ever see) and the place was overrun with coachloads of Asian tourists standing in the road for photos. A bit of a contrast.

Do share the B-number Martin - Always keen to try new ones....The more forgotten the better.

On my other bikes I'd always see the cute little country b-road and think.. nah not worth it. But aboard the mighty v-banana, I'm now turning round to go explore it.
Says a lot for this bike's capabilities. It'll go anywhere.

Wonder how long Land's end to John-o-Groats would take by b-road? At least a week.

On Topic: Lubed Chain and rode to Waterlooville via cheriton to pick up a new jacket from J&S. The B3046 Basingstoke-Alresford-Cheriton road is worth a ride on any day. Plenty of little overgrown unsigned roads to explore off it as well. Cheriton is possibly the cutetest english village there is.  The B2150 to waterloovile has its moments as well.
If it has two wheels.. I'll ride it.

Rode back to Bootle for work & saw the mileage hit 41,000 miles  :auto-dirtbike:

I really ought to take time to look for decent roads in the area given I keep having to come over to Bootle...

Oil & filter change, did the filter again too as Wemoto had the Hello Flo one’s for £4 t’other week.
Just under 4000 miles since the last change, & the old stuff looked pretty good I thought.

Fitted a £35 topbox and a Givi D3112ST screen. Still have more buffeting than I'd like. Aprilia style mirrors on order!

In my case, when I had L2 650, Aprilia mirrors helped a bit but there was still buffeting, more then I liked. So, Givi Airflow was the only answer. Had it until I sold the bike. Gave me zero buffeting.

Fitted Cosmo centre stand, a bit fiddly but easy enough. Even got the spring on in one go. Good price, even with delivery and definitely better than the £240 the dealer wanted for a Suzuki one.
Next job, a bit of chain maintenance :thumb:

Hi Paul I have to admit I didn't fit it myself I had a mechanic friend of mine do it along with the other bits and pieces, but he did say it was easy to do, if you need more pictures of the way he fitted it just let me know.

Oil and filter change on Sunday last week, plus fitted a nearly new ebay Fuel Pipe and removed the pannier brackets and rear pegs and hangers.

Oh and bunged on a Givi aitflow too.

She sounds like a real twin now.  She's turning into a proper tool for my 450 mile a week commute

Fitted a Givi Airflow. Not the prettiest thing in the world but a quick blast at lunch time was a much quieter ride.

Changed the fork seals  :fix:  From looking on here it looks as though I replaced them last on 01 August 2017 - stupid non-OEM seals. Let that be a warning for you. It looks as though salt had got past the dust seals and down the side of one of the oil seals

A few pics below.

I wish I read my old post before as I forgot my useful tips of using electrical tape to seat the new oil seals.

I also noticed my brake calipers had started to come loose as I took the front end off - check your nuts people...

Tomorrow suppose I'll need to go for a test ride...  :auto-dirtbike:

Took her off-road yesterday for the first time across the Salisbury plain byways. Lovely ride, did 20 miles off track - mostly hard deck with some loose gravel. Loads of chalk dust - the bike looked white afterwards.

Had to take it easy with no crash protection, but a lot of fun.

Now I have to spend today cleaning it.
If it has two wheels.. I'll ride it.
