Fitted / installed
1: Suzuki Sump Guard
2: Footrest lowers
3: Pyramid Hugger
4: Front mudguard extender
5: Wired up temporary fitted DRLs
6: Wired in the feed to my heated jacket

Still to do
Source headlight relays
Find a SatNav mount that won't hide the clocks
Look into getting some old style Givi side case racks and boxes.

This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

Had a scoot too around the Lake district.
Chilly, wet but traffic free and beautiful.

I'd noticed the front brake dragging a bit these last couple of days so I took the calipers off, cleaned everything up and bunged in new caliper seals. All nice and free now, mind you it was bloody cold in the garage.

Well, it wasn't worth it. Fibre was good after 20.000 miles but changed it anyway. I guess it could go at least 40.000 miles:

DL1000 2014 red (sold)
DL650 2012 white (sold)

I actually managed to get it out the garage and go for a run. It's been so long that I had to put the clock back an hour

Fortunately I wasn't too rusty, but I didn't half go slow for the first 10 miles.

Work has been all-consuming for a year now, but there's light at the end of that particular tunnel and I'm going to get a bit more riding in this year. I need to make sure I ride it again before I have to put the clock forward again.

Finally put it back together and attempted to go for a ride that wasn't just to work and back. Got as far as the petrol station before being summoned home as the youngest child (10 months) started projectile vomiting & and her big sister (3) decided to go bananas... :bawl:

One day (maybe tomorrow...???) I might get to  :auto-dirtbike:

As it was my last night duty of the week ... I washed her  ... Kwackboy will be pleased when I take her in for some work to be done on Wednesday. ... He normally has to triple glove as she is so dirty.

Went to Alto Adige Alps and back (480 km). Sunny and "warm" weather (3 - 13 C°)  :)

Had to take the sealing tape off the wiring connections for my heated grips and reposition them to stop them chaffing on the fairing bracket.
Also adjusted the chain as come back from service on the tight side of minimum and prefer it to be on the loose side of minimum for my peace of mind.
Couldn't get out for a ride so took advantage of the sunshine to get the bike dry from the damp garage.

Hi,

Fitted new lights, used the Hawk brackets from SW-Motech.
These are the lights:

Very pleased with them.  I'll add a video to shortly
