Sorry to hear that. I hope the topbox is fixable.

Out for a 120 mile run on country roads and a good feed. Then fixed v-strom stickers on the bike.

Headed out to Yorkshire Sculpture Park for a bit of culture (via a nice pub for lunch). First time with the Airflow screen, and what a difference! I could easily ride at 70mph on the motorway with the visor up. With the stock screen at the highest setting I couldn't ride at 30mph with the visor up as the buffeting was so bad.  Best purchase so far.

Hi Paul_Nicholson. Could I ask which of the three choices of heights did you have the airflow screen screwed into?

The base unit is on the top setting on the bike, the top part of the screen is about a third of the way up

Thanks, mine is on the middle setting I'll try the higher one as still getting buffeting there.

To avoid buffeting, Givi Airflow has to be tilted all the way towards the rider.

Eh? They slide up or down, but don't tilt towards or away.

Sorry, just now I've looked at your profile and found out you own Glee. No, it doesn't tilt on your bike.
I owned Glee before Vee2 and had Givi Airflow mounted on middle holes. It did give me some buffeting so I had to install side wind flaps, change mirrors and change my helmet. Side wind flaps and new mirrors did reduce some buffeting but it was still there. At that time I owned Schubert C3 Pro helmet. I tested AGV Compact Corse and it gave me zero buffeting. Purchased that one and was happy untill I sold the bike.

It does if you fit it with a Madstad bracket.

So does any screen, but it was the Givi Airflow they were talking about.

Yes my Givi Airflow slides up and down and tilts back and forth on a Madstad bracket.

Definitely needs a bit of tilt to get rid of the buffeting.

Set off yesterday afternoon and rode from Tyneside via Ch-Le-St, Lanchester, Tow Law, Bishop Aukland, Barnard Castle, Langthwaite, Low Row, Muker, Hawes and ended up in Leyburn.

B and B in a pub then return today to Tyneside via Middleham, Ripon, Thirsk, Sutton Bank, Helmsley and Stokesley where it started chucking it down, so straight up the A19 home.

A grand day out! In fact, two grand days out.

Missed the trip for fish & chips today so went for a little ride to the National Memorial Arboretum this afternoon. It's only 15 miles up the A38 but the long way round there & back put over 80 miles on the clock. Very mild day but overcast and a bit of drizzle............stayed dry enough for a walk around when we got there.
