Yesterday, some fantastic riding round the Yorkshire Dales near Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside including Rosedale Chimney Bank which is supposed to be as steep as Hardknott Pass though doesn't seem it and nowhere near as challenging. Almost crashed too, as took my eyes off the road at low speed for a second and ended up riding into the ditch at the side of the road

(= bum twitch time!

) Stayed on and managed to ride straight back out...
Today tackled some maintenance - oil and filter changed (though have slightly over filled so need to drain a tad tomorrow), cleaned the air filter and made some replacement lights for my duff Kirky DRLs. Also drilled an extra hole in my cheapo fog lights to adjust them downwards so I don't blind on coming traffic.
Tomorrow, I'll fit the DRLs, including the rear set I made and need to respray my sat satnav holder as it has surface rust
