Rode 187 miles home from North Wales, the first such long trip with my new Palmer Products screen mount fitted. I ordered it to use with the standard screen to replace the Givi Airflow that I've used for well over a year. The Givi works well but looks very cumbersome.
The PP mount with standard screen works best in the lowest height position and the middle rake setting.
I may end up putting the Givi back as it works better. Screen modifications and wind management seems to be the bugbear of many a Wee/Glee owner... Apart from that, the Glee makes a superb mid range tourer!

After completing the tart up of my latest DL650 I nearly had a moment of disaster when it was propped up on a Paddock Stand on my Bike Lift. Wobble, wobble, tilt, bollocks. Luckily no harm done.

That prompted me to buy a centre stand. I found a cheapie on eBay and tonight I gave it a good clean up and a couple of coats of primer.

I see you've also installed the anti gravity capacitor on your bike too! It's a great feature, especially during peak traffic times.

I fitted my newly painted Centre Stand. After wrestling with the springs I needed a lay down

I know the springs are a bit hard to do  :dl_smiley_banghead:
How did you do it in the end Fat Rat.

I used a hand held spring puller, it was a struggle but much better than trying it without.

I've ordered some new springs to refit mine, heard about using string tied to the back wheel and then turning the wheel back wards.

Went for another of those Sunday afternoon runs (that's all I can fit in around work at the moment) where I just find a lane and follow it. If the weeds at the side of the road start whipping my shins, then that's a nice lane.

Traffic chaos around Bibury as normal, but other than that it was quite empty.

Fitted and wired in the Garmin satnav, changed the heated grips for shorter ones (as the adventure grips are too long for DL's) fitted a 2 tooth smaller front sprocket and new titanium rear wheel adjuster bolts  :lala:

Went on the sixth (and final  :bawl:) Ride of Honour. Absolutely fantastic day out and perfect weather. Route was Squires to Withernsea in 2.5hrs all back roads.

Some pics.
