Went out and clocked up another 166 miles, now over half way to 1st service and being able to accelerate normally.
Lovely sunny day here in Norfolk and still very impressed with my Glee, convinced I made the right choice over the Tiger 800.
Got to come up with a way of restraining small items to the floor of the topbox when nothing else in it, I thought something had gone wrong with bike but just disc lock bag jumping around.

Disc lock under the saddle maybe.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

Washed it as and noticed the water pump has started to corrode under the paint slightly, despite it only been cold a couple of days so far this winter and me using acf50. Anyone know the paint code for the engine on a glee?

I fitted clear Indicator lenses, it's amazing (to me) how they smarten up the bike. I even splashed out on some Stainless screws  :fix:

Drab

Shiny

I also fitted the Datatool Heated Grips, I really like the idea of no separate Controls   :thumb:

I'm just waiting for Bigpie to pull his finger out and send me the Fusebox

Removed and opened the handlebar switch assembly and cleaned the contacts.

Now can't put it back together again  :dl_smiley_banghead:

I know how it is supposed to go back but I just can't seem to get it assembled  ###

Bright sunny morning so off for a spin. Over the  A635 towards Huddersfield aren't those heated grips a godsend. wish I'd had them on my 'James' travelling to work, way back. :old: A joy to be out, but them wet cattle grids don't half make Your a*** twitch when you hid em at an angle on the fly.:haha: Funny ol place names they have in Yorkshire. :) Roll on spring.

New chain and sprockets a couple of weeks ago, oil and filter at the same time, new rear pads and grease the rear brake pedal pivot today. Checked front pads but were OK.

Fitted a 6 way fuse box which involved using a blow lamp to reshape the lump out of the plastic underseat area, refitted the BPGPI, refitted the PD mini and new oil tank, fitted auxiliary lights but they're both faulty.... Fitted the LED headlights and side lights. Also fitted a 5v usb voltage converter.

The list is getting shorter!!

The six way fuse box.
