Living in a house with three women,

You bragging or looking for sympathy?

Just had a monumental task getting my bike into the conservatory. Sick of getting cold in the garage!! I've done an oil change while the engine is still warm. Now to start my epic list of jobs...

This is my alternative oil tank for the pd mini. I could never find a location I was happy with for the original tank, so I'm trying this fuel tank from a model RC car. It holds nearly as much as the original tank, but in a package size I'm happy with. It is internally baffled and is easy to refill. Winner!

:smirk: By complicated, I probably mean that by the time we have each stripped our wheels and traveled the distance between us (without wheels  ) it would probably work out cheaper to have them coated.

True! My wheels are out ready for having the new tyres fitted, but as you say transport is the real cost.

Took off the Barn Door Mirrors and added something a little more subtle. Added a 12V Socket.

Finally got round to giving the Glee a much needed wash as it's been ages since last time and it's been covered in rain, muck, road salt and London's finest road grime. Looks much better now!
After washing I usually let it idle, with a few blips of the throttle to get the revs up,  till the fan kicks in to dry things out - what's the thoughts on that? Is it OK to do or does it create any issues?

I've done that, to both dry the bike and smell the cooking ACF50  :)

However, the correct advice seems to be that it is not a good idea. Condensation forms as part of the combustion process, but the bike is never really hot enough to burn it all away.

I guess it depends how long you run it for though.

Whilst waiting for the heating engineer to come and sort out the boiler I thought I'd use my enforced day off usefully, so did a few of the jobs on my list...

Removed and drained the forks.
Checked the valve clearances (all good).
Fitted iridium spark plugs.
Fitted taper roller head bearings.
ACF50 on all the electrical connectors behind the radiator.
Dropped the wheels and new tyres off at the garage for fitting, balancing and new valves.

Still got a load of jobs left though...
