Went for a 70 mile bimble up into the Cotswolds, for no reason whatsoever, but using the excuse of not wanting Spanish Petrol in my tank when it gets cold.

It's my first ride (other than getting the service done) since coming back from Spain at the end of September.

I need to get out more.

Fitted the Cymarc foot peg lowering kit today to my Glee. The gear change side was an easy fit with only a minor change to the lever position. The brake side was more awkward, spent time trying to fit the paper clip to extend the brake switch spring but decided It wasn't needed. If you fit one, make sure you undo the brake side lock nut before you remove the pivot pin otherwise the connector just rotates. Happy with the end product though.

Because you loaded them upsidedown.

I've turned them all up the right way for you  :)

Went on a 75 mile ride to see our new forum member Andyonbass, who lives three miles away from me. For some reason I got diverted up and around Oxford whilst crossing Swindon. Don't know how that happened.
 :)

The wind on the A40 was terrible, not fun at all.

Anyway, met with Andy and he took a look at some of the accessories I have on my bike that he wants to fit to his. We spent an hour comparing the original 04 plate Wee to a 14 plate Glee and agreeing that the Strom is a great bike.

Then it pissed down big style, so I took the 3 mile trip home.

Good to meet you Andy.

Dropped it off at the garage for a 24k service, valve clearances and new tyres. Pick it up on Saturday and will have to take it for a run unfortunately!

Opted for PR4s (standard rear and trail front) after 15k+ on Anakee 3s. After riding on square tyres for a while I am looking forward to round tyres again!

Tried to find out why my bike is popping the signal fuse. Should only take 10 minutes right?

Oh dear.

Finally got the hose extension and got the Karcher out and gave the poor, filthy beasty a decent clean. Got some ACF50 on there and lubed up moving parts. Looks pretty good but too little light left for photos. :-)

Decided to take my Givi airflow and put the standard screen on just to test for a few days as its set in the higher bracket position to allow for an accessory bar and its just in the lower part of my eye line (which is quite annoying)

What a horrible mistake  :angry-banghead:
I didn't think there would be too much difference in terms of wind protection but the stock screen Vs airflow shows they are a world apart!
I won't be taking the airflow off again any time soon!!

Picked her up from a big service and MOT :fix:. Valves checked, changed oil and filter, air filter, coolant, brake fluid, spark plugs and new chain and sprockets. Running SO much smoother now :)

Also booked in for an All Year Biker pampering.
