Are you feeling OK, Mick? You went out on the bike and there's no mention of any sort of food.

Thanks for your concern Martyn & there is no need to worry about me wasting away!!  lol
I had a lovely Sunday dinner followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding & custard and for tea a Beetroot sandwich, picked fresh this morning (the Beetroot not the sandwich) & cooked within the hour.  Oh, & a packet of crisps.  :thumb:
I'll turn the preload up a couple of clicks when I do the tyres Wednesday.

Fitted the front and rear cameras, got the wiring, Bigpie box and bits where I wanted so that I could take a test ride and make sure it worked before having it all complete.

Took a nice wee trip to watch the cruise ship pass in the background, found out that I had not got the rear camera onto the mount tight enough so a slight adjustment and back home to finish the job tomorrow or Friday where I can have better pictures of the whole setup.

Also took my tank protector off in favour for some protective film, I had some left over from when I had it on my last bike where in my opinion looks better with the film than the protector I had on it at first.

My centre stand comes Friday from Cosmo and my Givi radiator guard should be here tomorrow for me to add on next.

I went for the Innovva K3, from the short time that I used it yesterday then my opinion so far is that the footage is much clearer than I expected but until I get more familiar with the app and get the settings dialled to how I want them, I must admit that I think the ease of use could be simpler as so far I haven't figured out if there is a way to download footage automatically to my phone without having to do it manually once I stop and need to keep bike power on to download each time otherwise it does not allow me to view footage on the app if not connected to the unit where the SD card is. Not a major issue admittedly.

My morning commute to work and thought I would share an image from the rear camera, this was me sitting at some traffic lights after getting some fuel at Asda.

Busy boy today day off work Mrs and daughter out for the day so time to play. Removed seat and fairing panels and tank found the cause of popping and farting rear throttle body just rubbing shoulders with the intake and air box rubbers. Removed original heated grips that didn't work fitted some new black rock grips. Also fitted USB socket to fairing panel. Also fitted drl /fog lights hi level on facing on cosmo brackets u5 type lights cheapo ebay type bought for my last bike but never used so fitted them to wee. All running through the legendary big pie fuse box all working 100%. Plus bike running fine now throttle body and air box reconnected 😂

Good work, those throttle body boots are a classic, had mine come back detached from the dealer last time out as well.
Rode down to Green Hut at Ollerton for the full "2 clicks of preload" breakfast. Saw a solid slab of 80s magnificence, it's a TURBO in case you didn't know...

I got around to fitting the end can off my old NC750x.
I used a standard system from a scrap yard and cut off the can at the weld near the O2 sensor.
The scrap exhaust came with the down pipes and I used the rear one which is the same size as the cut off section and it slides inside the Honda link pipe, which I had to cut a little bit to change the angel before welding it up.

Another neat job Deecat. Also what have you done to the seat? Is it my eyes or is it a bit, well rounder.

You are right Porter,I had a local bloke fit gel inserts and extra padding as we can some times be out on the bike for 8 hours at a time.
We had a week off work a few weeks back and did 900 miles on the bike, it was to hot some days.
At the start of the holiday I took the hand guards off to try and keep cooler ,one day the temp on the clock was 35c so we went to pub instead!

One thing that I must congratulate on is the people who fix the roads in Wales we had a good ride out on the A44 lovely road ,we could do with them working in England for a few years.

A44 from Aberystwyth is one of my fun roads home from Fat Rat's. Passes the silver mine where I did volunteer work in the 1976 heatwave.

Pulled over on the ride out today to take a photo of this significant moment of our 650 V-Strom ownership. Bought new in 2013 and it's all fun miles with probably 95% of them done two up, (no commuting). You don't need a 1000/1050 to have fun on a bike with a pillion!

:text-woo: Welcome to the 50,000+ mile club Mick   :thumb:

I did a 120 mile bimble on single tracks with my brother on his Versys 650 today. It's been ages since we've been out together (pre-covid really) so was good to meet up. Both of us in vented summer kit so naturally it rained...

Also installed a Cardo Freecom4X in his helmet to match mine - much better having decent head units that work, and beats having to rely on phoning each other to speak.

My Cosmo centre stand arrived today, great service from start to finish and for anyone still considering what stand to choose then I highly recommend this as the price and quality are both great.

Myself and dad fitted it in about 30mins, thanks again Cosmo/VstromUK for the online member discount.
