Ah....this is a topic I start on many forums. For me my family nickname is Sparky and my friends started calling me Bean. So my username is the two names together. It's also my gamer tag and for some reason people always comment on it.

Just a mere 4 and a half years from the last post, so it's time to look again.

I'm sure people can work out why tallpaul picked that name, but why is TLPower not called TLBreakdown? Where the hell do some of the more recent usernames come from?

Come on, give us a laugh.

Ridaz.... often pronounced as Riders but those Southerners but should be Rid-Az (in your best Geordie accent too).. nowt to do with bikes... my surname is Ridley and Ridaz was a school nickname that came through for my Dad, my brother and eventually me.

I signed up via Tapatalk and don't recall being given the option to choose a name, Tapatalk just gave me this one and it's too late to change it now as no-one will know who I am!

I was always stonec0ld on all other forums as I used to love WWE wrestling and had a passing resemblance to Stone Cold Steve Austin

I used to live and work in France and could often be found emerging from the darkest recesses of aircraft. Froglodyte seemed more appropriate than Troglodyte.

None taken Martin. ###

TLPower because of the TL1000 engine "powering" the mighty Cagiva. Other names have been suggested since my move to the Orange side including, TyrolPower,Tossbag and toomuchpower.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

I was going to call myself 'Bighandsomefecker' but that was just too obvious.

Kwackboy was a name I gave myself many years ago when I owned a Kawasaki ZX12R.

I made it up when I was looking for a user name for an email address. You know the scenario, everything you think of has been chosen by someone else.

Kept it ever since and used it for many other things .

Duck calling then?   lol

Mine is fairly obvious (make of my jacket printed all over it, from the US (?) ) but it's amazing how many ask me who I am..........
So how's it going so far then?

The doorbell rang last night. I thought it was a duck calling but it was a man with a bill.

The first forum I signed up for many years ago was the TBM forum. I couldn't think of a user name and asked the wife, 'old git' was her instant reply. It's kind of stuck and has been my favoured name where it's not taken, ever since.

I've an interest in old engines and the "surface ignition" or "hotbulb" precursors to the full Diesel engines are a favourite. Also, it was available, and I've grown tired of finding variations based on my actual name!
