I've been looking at the Versys.  Not sure though.  Plus everyone wants one - there's a distinct lack of reasonably priced used ones.

Would have to be the touring version - fully loaded!

I went from a 1200 bandit to a versys then a vee. The versys was a great bike and great fun, handled nicely and the engine is tuned for loads of stomp 30 to 80 ish so for road work was just right. For me it just didn't have quite enough go.
