DL1000 Throttle Bodies
« on: October 06, 2010, 21:03:45 »
The throttle bodies on my DL1000 K3 need adjusting. Can anyone tell me approx how much this should cost to get done by a dealer.

there is a good guide in the how to section and if you need also a carbtune for sale in the sales use it and e-bay it afterwards
Best of luck

If you use a long nose pair of pliers to adjust the screw, rather than removing the panels, tank, etc, then it only takes about ten or fifteen minutes to do. I've got also got a Morgan Carbtune and it works perfectly.

Many thanks for the advise lads. My local dealer says its a 2 hour job, which I suppose is to allow for removing and replacing panels etc. I will probably make a mess of it if I attempt it on my own, so will get my son to help.
