I have resprayed the Enfields rear mudguard in Satin Black to match the rest of the bike.  Is there a satin or matt finish lacquer I should use. I have some ordinary gloss lacquer but a test piece comes over as too shiny. Does anyone have a recomendation?  I used Upol as a top coat but now all I can find is high gloss clear coats.

I know nothing about paint but what about giving U-Pol a call/email & asking what they would recommend?

Tool Station stock a Plasticote satin laquer for just over £8.

When the price of the BSA 650 dropped a few weeks ago I considered taking a punt.
Glad I didn't.
This chap's bike had an elecrical problem due to an over tight wiring loom that was being stretched through the headstock as the bars were turned.
