v strom 250 gearing/revs
« on: August 22, 2024, 11:14:08 »
hi..I have previously owned a inazuma 250...and had to change the front sprocket to reduce engine revs as 1st and 2 gear were too close together  and engine revs at 60 mph were I thought too much....has Suzuki altered this on the new 250 v strom engine?  thanks

You can compare the gearing of the 2 models here;

It would appear they've actually made your issue worse by moving from a 14/46 final drive to 14/47 so revs are up in each gear.
