Tick over speed.
« on: August 24, 2024, 10:35:19 »
My 650 DL ticks over at 1300 rpm when warm, I haven't a problem with it, but can it be adjusted by myself at home ?....bob
I have a 2009 DL650.

1300rpm seems to be the right idle speed I believe. Idle speed is set by the idle speed control valve and part of the ECM system so in a word there is no manual control over the idle.

You would probably need a diagnostic check done by a dealer to detect any fault, should one arise.
So how's it going so far then?
