New clutch/brake lever
« on: November 25, 2023, 18:07:34 »
I dropped my 1050... and scraped my new panniers

Good thing is... my clutch lever broke and I have always wanted shorter levers, haha...

Actually... it has the perfect length now, and it is still working.

Hmm... well... while true, the edge where it is broken is slightly sharp, so I want to change change it. I was also not happy about the adjustment. This clutch grip point was too far out even though I moved it as close to the grip as possible.

Which ones are your favorites? I think it is the same as for the 1000.

Did he have one through the other hand and his feet?
Ho Hum.

I quite like the std levers on my 650 'cos I have hands like dinner plates, but whatever you get it needs to activate the switch, some cheapo ones don't.Also be careful fitting it for the same reason the switch is easily broken. :thumb:

I think he'd been on an enduro. It seems odd, because unless Magura levers are name stamped on both sides, it looks like a clutch lever through the right hand. Takes some doing.

I was watching Dave Thorpe (remember him) racing 500MX at Cadders Hill and just near me another rider came off and his boot went past/broke the chain catcher and got pulled into the rear sprocket.
The bike stalled(thankfully) as the sprocket cut through his calf all the way to the bone.
Not right in any way.
Off road anything can happen.......BRRRRR.
