Hi
Does anyone happen to know the draw on these. I have a pair on but thinking of adding some other stuff and would like to work out the black magic stuff.
Cheers

I seem to remember that these are 50 watts each, that is a fair bit of load. When I had them fitted, I experimented with swapping the halogens for LED lamps, but found them to be unreliable.

Don't know if this is correct.
But that's a lot of extra from the charging system.

Yes 50w each = a draw of 4 amps each.
If I've not got much running on the bike, other than the chain oiler & Sat Nav my 650 still shows 14volts output on the voltmeter.
They now do an LED version of a similar unit. If you want to part with your hard earned?

Thanks everyone.
Fat Rat I have seen from other posts that you had a go at an LED bulb but with little success, anyone had another dable at a conversion.

Yes, I did. I couldn't get one short enough to fit into the recess. The bulb lies at right angles & all the LED ones I tried were too long by a few mm to fit in.
I did force one in to try it but the light output was shocking except if you looked at it from one specific angle!

Thanks
Much appreciated.
Think I’ll sack off that idea then.
