I Phone Surround
« on: September 26, 2023, 19:31:00 »
I am using my IPhone for Sat Nav, is there anything on the market like a plastic surround which would shelter the phone from weather, direct sunlight and glare on the screen while riding?

Thanks in advance

"sun visor phone holder" on Amazon would be a start. You should also consider a vibration damping mount if you don't want to kill your camera.

Perhaps you could make up something similar to that being sold on amazon?  Depending on the size of the screen on your phone, the amazon shade may come up short or be too big.

Check out the Givi smartphone/GPS bags and mounts. They come in all sizes to suit and your device will be held loosely inside in foam preventing vibration.
Mount it where you like.
EP also make a good selection of mounts.
I havent used the Givi mounts personally because I went to dedicated GPS but from what I saw that would be my choice if using the phone.
