Glad it's not just me. :thumb:

I got me one of those big weed killer pressurised spray pump things(pump pump pump spray spray spray),filled it with water.After a salty (me hearties arrrh) ride I will wash off the salt before even taking off my lid.The low pressure squirt takes off the salt but not the ACF.
By the time I have had a shower to warm up/taken a shit/whatever and go back down to the garage the bike is mostly dry from the engine heat and I can reapply with ACF/GT85 If needed. Ready for the next slide around in the salt.

sorry, my wd40 answer was a bit brief. just spray it on and that softens the wd40 nicely then you can wash it off or just leave it. thanks to doc46 for helping out.   can I insert emojies in replies?
