So, Honda have brought back the wonderful Transalp.... Parallel twin, 21" spoked wheels.
So, Suzuki have replaced the iconic 650 V Strom....Parallel twin, 21" spoked wheels.
OK, the new Tenere and new Africa Twin have been great sellers, but do we really need more of the same?
I made the mistake of selling my Transalp years ago. I even sold my first V Strom for an AT. I won't make the same mistake again with my current V Strom.
I understand the cost pressures which push manufacturers towards the parallel twin and its flexibility in powering a range of models....but why the obsession with 21" spoked front wheels? I enjoy my Tenere, but IMHO it would be a better bike (for me) with a 19" cast front wheel.
