I assume you've applied for undercover work since you now have relevant experience.

I know 2 who I'll be after

Sorry to hear the new job didn't work out but there must be a driving job for a decent company going somewhere, they can't all be crooks.....can they?
Good luck with whatever you end up doing.  :thumb:

Having worked for a decent company for all of my working life I am still shocked at the stories my son tells me about the things his employers gets up to and of the grim employment conditions in general. I hope you find yourself in a better place soon.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Holmsey, another Rat I know left the Job and went in the wagons in the South and found the same. He tried buses, back to wagons and now jacked it all and gone to the Railways in some very well paid support role. Apparently Network Rail are recruiting for all sorts of roles at the moment.

It's just a shame that we don't know anyone that used to work on the Railways that could give you any advice.

Wasn't Brockett the man who told William Huskisson it'd be OK to just nip across the track?

I see what you did there Rusty, Stevenson's Brockett, very good.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.
